Phenomenal!! Brooke Waters is the 3rd agent I’ve had the pleasure of working with and is a keeper!! I will never use anyone else!! 1st was buying my home, great experience, the 2nd was my first attempt at selling my home after living in it for a little over 4 years; that was a disappointing experience, and then Brooke Waters came to the RESCUE!! I think finding a good or a great agent is easy, and the easier part is being the representing agent of the buyer, but it takes SKILLS, and GUSTO, EXTREMELY HARD WORK, DEDICATION and DETERMINATION to be the representing agent(BROOKE) of the SELLER(ME). Cause lord knows, not every agent can SELL a house being the representing agent of that property. It takes a special kind of skill set, which Brooke Waters possesses. My situation was tricky and unique as well. She was able to accommodate my needs. I had already packed everything in my house, moved it out of state, and had nothing. She offered me a blow up bed and a blanket to use for the couple of weeks I was stuck in my home and waiting for the house to close. After everything was complete, she was still there for me, to take my calls, texts and email questions I had about buying my new home out of state. I’ve already referred several people to her, and will continue to do so. If I ever move back to Utah, without a doubt, she with be my ONE and ONLY agent for all my BUYING and SELLING needs. I wish I could’ve brought her with me so she could’ve sold me my new home here in Texas!! Meeting Kelly was purely by chance, my wife and I were visiting the Ogden area trying to decide if I should apply for a new job and make the move from Indiana to Utah. We met while eating lunch at a local restaurant and knew at that time if we were going to move that we found our realtor. Once I applied for the job we let Kelly know and she went to work, daily we would get reports and pictures to look at, she would even tour the houses with us on the phone so that we could get a feeling of what the area was like and if the pictures on the internet told the real story(note I didn’t have the job yet). This went on for a few months before I was able to return to Utah to interview for the job and look at a few houses in person. Well I got the job and we made some offers on the houses I saw that didn’t work out and were left with no house and no more time to return to Utah before our second child was born and I had to relocate, we had to trust her judgment and the pictures from the listing. Brad and I decided to list our home. About the same time Jon Hiatt knocked on
our door, he was professional and impressed us with his willingness to get out
there and be aggressive. We had considered using our neighbor’s realtor, but
their home had been on the market for a while without success.
I called Jon and we go together right away. Jon met with us in our home. Which
was perfect since we have small children. He gave us some great suggestions of
things that would help our house to sell. He was upfront and honest with us, and
let us know what we could expect. We felt confident we were in good hands. We
gave ourselves a week to do what we could to be ready, and the sign went up. Jon
got our home listed on several sites, and it really got a lot of exposure.
We had a lot of showings; we had neighbors with homes that were for sale who
weren’t showing their homes at all. Jon Hiatt helped us price our home right. And
we took his advice. We received the offer on our home in 33 days. It was a great
offer and we accepted it.
Jon was fabulous at meeting with me weekly to take me through prospective
homes for us to purchase. He kept new lists of homes at our fingertips for us to
view on the internet prior to going through, so I didn’t waste my time on homes
that wouldn’t meet our needs. He was organized and had lots of information on
each home we were interested in.
With the help of Jon Hiatt, we found the home we love and put an offer on the
house. Jon went out on a limb for us and we saved a lot of money on the
purchase of our new home. We couldn’t have been more pleased with all the
hard work on our behalf.
We sold our home and purchased our new home at the same time, which could
have been very scary if things didn’t work out just right. Everything went so
smoothly. There were not any surprises at closing. We really felt Jon Hiatt had our
best interests in mind the whole time, and he was so great to work with.
